Position Players

Anyone know why I may not be seeing any of my position players being fatigued? I do give a few of my every day players days off every now and then but not all of them and yet they are always 100% rested. Even have a couple of players who have played every game of the season (22 games) and they are 100% rested. This is not realistic. I have the setting for Position Player Fatigue on VERY HIGH which I assume means position players become fatigued more quickly. So I do not understand what is going on?

Some positions fatigue more quickly than others. I’m sure some has tracked this better than me, but my experience is that catchers will show fatigue after playing on 4-5 consecutive days, OF, 2B, 3B, SS after 14-15 consecutive days and 1B, DH rarely show fatigue. Part of what you are seeing might be due to natural off days built into the schedule. If you are using the current MLB schedule, you should have a stretch of 20 consecutive days with a game and if you don’t give your guys a day off, you will see fatigue at some point.

It’s dependent on many factors. Age, injury history, scheduled off days, etc. of course, catchers will need more off days, and first basemen less. I also have fatigue on very high, and I’ll be forced to rest players. But if, like you said, you are giving players days off once in a while, you may never see the energy go down. This is because you’re getting ahead of it, and that, IMO is good strategy.
