Achievements?

Didn't find another thread about this, sorry if this has already been addressed - but what is the deal with how achievements are awarded?

For instance, here's my profile:

I've mostly played simming through seasons with 20 so far so I figured some of the in-game achievements don't "count" unless you actually play through the game. But even then I'm pretty sure I've done some of these things in games I've played, like 4 SB and shared shutout. And yes, I always log in...

And then the other thing, there are several non-game achievements that I have definitely done for seasons but not awarded - several silver sluggers, 20/20 players...

Am I missing something / overestimating my talents lol - or is there something goofy going on?

For instance, just got 4 SB in a game I played (also, this guy is my #1, my hero...) but no achievement. I'm logged in, it's challenge mode. ???

Never really figured it out the achievement thing either. Sometimes I get these messages pop up in the bottom right saying I made an achievement but it doesn't say which one. Looking at the website with achievements awarded doesn't help because you can see which one you just received.

Anyone from the dev team got an answer bout this yet? I started a new franchise and I've been able to get some of the achievements I didn't get from the old game. Is it just like season files from games started at an earlier version?

We had a look and yes, it appears that the server was ignoring certain achievements. That should be fixed now going forward.
