At least he didn't miss an ALCS start and then have to be removed in the 1st inning of the next one due to a "drone accident".

Actually, I've already had such an injury. Player gets up in the middle of the night to grab a snack out of the refrigerator, and accidently cuts his finger as he was slicing a piece of pie. Missed a couple weeks.

I actually laughed when it came up in my game. I pictured some crusty old veteran with the reputation of being the team flake, who would do something like that.

The affected player in my game was like my "25th" player, a mop up veteran reliever who only got into a game once every eight or ten games anyway. I had to think about whether or not I was even going to bother going to the trouble of sticking him on the DL.
