Going from iOOTP 11 to 12

After playing five seasons with iOOTP 11, I got 12 and brought my game over using iExplorer. It made me curious about one thing: Since iOOTP 12 knows what happened in real-life 2011, does that knowledge affect the ratings it creates for my players?

I'm sorry, I don't understand the question.

If I understand right, you started a major league game (2011 season) in iOOTP 2011 and played 5 years. Then you transfered your save to iOOTP 2012 and continued your game, right?

In that case, nothing changes with the new game as the game was generated with the old version and the ratings/potentials will not be changed.

Thanks, Palli. Sorry if I wasn't clear. You answered my question. Just wondered if 12 brought new insights into the players' abilities, but apparently not.

Love the game, btw. Only complaint is that playing on an iPod my eyes start to blur after a while, but it's so hard to stop.
