John Ruiz retires.

Sadly, Two-Time WBA Heavyweight Champion, John "The Quiet Man" Ruiz has retired from boxing. He plans on moving his family from Las Vegas to Boston and open up a boxing gym to help kids. John Ruiz accomplished much during his storied engaging in thrilling fights with the likes of Evander Holyfield, Tony Tucker, and other highly ranked heavyweights.

By the way, do you want to have a boxer in my TGPiS uni? I remember you were in the HBF but you don't have a guy in the current one.

I forget her name , but she is an actual professional boxer from somewhere in south america.

All the best to John Ruiz. Taking his career as a whole and John as a man, he was a class act from start to finish.

Yeah, he was excruciatingly painful to watch at times, but going out on his shield as he did left the fans and the sport with a positive not.

Ruiz should have a nice amount in his bank account by now (hopefully).
