How do you change historical team logos?

So, I'm trying to start in 1917 & create my own league from scratch. I've renamed all the starting NHL teams & my question is, how do I change the logo of those teams?

So, I did as instructed & added the images to the right file but how do you change them directly in game?

For an existing game, you have to exit the game, then copy the files into the save folder (e.g. \saved_games\your saved game name.lg\graphics\logo_teams.) Then restart the game and the proper logos should load with the save.
