BRHLO Cash League Has Rare Openings

The BRHLO a one of it's kind OOTP league for cash, has a few openings. Turnover isn't super common we generally have a very stable pool of GMs.

ABOUT THE LEAGUE
- We are wrapping up our second year of baseball, but our hockey league of similar setup has been running for 14+ years.
- Daily sim of 1 day. 1 season per year. We run about 3 months behind MLB, which times out our new season right around when the new OOTP comes out every year and we upgrade to that
- Players get updated in our league to their new OOTP ratings each year (therefore development is off and not utilized)
- $50 per season. 2 seasons required up front. ALL the funds collected are paid out to GMs for various accomplishments
- Draft (2019 class) will occur as soon as our season ends in a couple weeks. It is the first event in our calendar
- League uses Slack as a means of communication. Participation and activity there is REQUIRED
- League started with everything equal, market size, loyalty, budget, etc. It will ebb and flow through time, but there's not a huge gap between traditional big/small market teams like normal.

LEAGUE LINKS
- League Page http://ootp.brhl.net/2019/files/brhl..._146_home.html
- Rules Link http://brhl.net/File/BRHLORulebook.docx

OPEN TEAMS (w/article link on their y/e writeup)
Taking waiting list and/or assistant GM apps. They get first shot at new teams

If you click on the Milwaukee Brewers link it will bring up the HTML page which includes the Financial Report (right know $33 M to the good and in the final 4), Salaries for next year are $172 but include over $60 M in arbitration options if you exercise them. That same link has a link to the entire minor league system.

By far the most realistic game I have ever played. 40 man rosters, check. 125 players in your system, check. AAA, AA and A rosters, check. 10 round amateur draft which includes July 2nd International signees, check. Daily sims, one day, one game, check. Rule V draft, check. Salary cap, check. Free agency, check. If you miss a day uploading lines you only miss 1 game. $400 to the winner of the World Series. $100 to the World Series loser. I made the wild card game, made cash. Won and advanced to the next round, more cash. Lost to Milwaukee, no more cash. If you click on the teams link above you can examine each teams minor league system. . If your Class A team wins their championship you win $10. Each of the Silver Sluggers pay out $5 each. A complete list of cash payouts is in the Rulebook.

Thanks for reading

The Brewers are now off the board. With 3 teams left, they won't last long. Get in while you can!

This message is for the people who were hesitant to join the most realistic SIM baseball league bar none. The league announced their first group of cash awards for this season. These awards consisted of both leagues Cy Young's, MVP's, and Rookie of the Year's along with the highly coveted GM of the year. Each award pays $25.00.

One GM won two awards so his $50 yearly fee is paid, Four different GM's took home $25.00 and two split the $25.00 because of a tie.

With the MLB Pipeline Top 100 prospect list coming out more cash awards will be announced shortly.

Our World Series is at 1 game apiece ( this is when the serious money is made) and our 10 round amateur draft starts February 6th which includes the 2018 and 2019 intentional signings plus the 2019 Major League Draft. Is Jasson Dominguez a top 5 pick ?

Feel free to reach out to Bryce or Eric to get more information and get on the waiting list.

The BRHLO has completed its second season and congratulations to the San Diego Padres. The following monies were distributed:

Division winner $50
Wild card winner $15
Wild Card loser $10
Division round loser $12.50
LCS loser $50
WS loser $100
WS winner $400

So San Diego won $400 for winning the World Series and $50 for winning their division. By winning your division you are assured $50 plus $12.50 if you lose the first round of the playoff. If the World Series loser won their division they are assured $100 plus $50.
