Importing historical players

Jeff mentioned in a recent video something about being able to create all-time franchise great teams using the import player function. The issue I see with this is deleting or retiring all the existing players in the league (either fictional players in a custom league or stock players in a real league). Is there already a way to delete players after setting up your league structure/teams etc?

If not, it would be great in the future to be able to start a league with no players and build from there. Even better would be if I could import say the 1995 Red Wings, the 1955 Canadiens, the 1929 Leafs, etc and then add imported players to the earlier teams as needed. Then proceed as a standard historical league.

You can do it, but someone else asked the same thing on the forums. It's not something we can easily do, but if someone takes the time to set it up, they could share a quickstart with whoever wants it once they've done the legwork.

And I'm going to see if we can implement something like OOTP's options to delete players in large batches (i.e. everybody on a team/league).

Yeah I was going to do this for a quickstart like the one I do for OOTP

Just need to know when and I'll buy it and start working. Although Im doing a new reimport for thr 1600 players for this year so Ill be busy for a couple weeks on that.
