Not Enough Players to Create Lineup

I have just gone through the first off season in my save but when I get to the first preseason game, I get a message saying that there are not enough players to create a lineup but I have 20 players dressed and don't know why the message being displayed.

Hey, I've come across this before. What worked for me was going through and making sure I had enough people in certain positions. What i mean is actually changing their position by right clicking on them and hitting change position. I'm trying to remember exactly what the issue was, and I think I had to change a forward to a defenseman or something like that. Hilariously, I later have tried this with the goalie position, changing a defenceman into a goalie, using him for a backup, and praying he wouldn't get used. Worked fine

Yeah, there is an issue right now where the AI has trouble filling the roster properly if there are several players who can play both forward and D. Sounds like this could be it. It'll be fixed in the next update; in the meantime if you check the lines as Autumn suggested you should be able to fill the empty spots manually.
