1. The "detail texture modulation" slider under the pic can be moved to the left just a little bit. Try to balance the loss of facial texture with the teeth color. It's tricky, and sometimes you have to make a choice between facial features and teeth. 2. Shape tab: play around with the mouth section sliders, particularly the thin/thick slider, large/thin slider. That'll close it a bit. 3. Color tab: play around with the lipstick color. You might to read this thread by Gambo: SoxxCountry; View topic - Testing your FGs / Fixing double teeth . Nice tips in there as well. Don't be afraid to play around with the sliders to get what you want. Last edited by RandyTiger; 04-30-2010 at 02:37 AM. |

In conjunction with that, why don't you try stuff from the post above this one to practice on Ohlendorf? Just consider it extra batting practice. It'll help you learn how to do it, but I'll also do it so you can compare the results. Last edited by RandyTiger; 04-30-2010 at 02:38 AM. |

Looks like you've got a bunch to work on and I don't want to overload you but... I wonder if you would consider doing these for me? No hurry, when you get a chance, if you get a chance. Meanwhile I'll be trying to figure out how to do this for myself. Maybe I can overcome my complete lack of creative ability!

Yeah... just give me a little time here! Between the historical facegen project and you guys... I'd like some time to play the game too! Seriously, give me a few days. Take some batting practice and try a few pics, like those from above. Read post #43, and play around with the sliders. Don't be afraid to experiment. Compare the results with what I post up, and ask questions if you have problems. Last edited by RandyTiger; 04-30-2010 at 04:22 AM. |

Any help needed?
I have most of the Oakland Athletics system complete. Here's some examples:
Adrian Cardenas Eric Sogard Jemile Weeks Tyson Ross Don't wanna hijack the great work you've done - but let me know if these help and if you'd like more. I've redone all the A's through AA. I can upload a .zip file of the .fg files if wanted. BoogalooCrab Last edited by BoogalooCrab; 04-30-2010 at 03:12 PM. Reason: more detail |

Wow BoogalooCrab! Really neat. Those are great. I've really got to learn how to do that. You and RandyTiger and all the other people making such cool faces are really motivating me to figure this out for myself.

Head over to SoxxCounty (link in my sig), grab the software link, read the tutorials, and start playing. It doesn't take very long to figure things out!

I wanted some feedback. First pic I did is Zach Lutz of the Mets.
I used this image: http://www.metsminorleagueblog.com/w...s-headshot.jpg and got this result: For one thing I can see he's too orange, but wasn't sure how to change that. Does it look ok other than that? |

OK. I found how to change his colour. I'm playing around with it to try to get it right.

You might want to adjust his eyewhites - those always need adjusting to make it appear more life-like. Edit: apparent crosspost. Last edited by RandyTiger; 04-30-2010 at 06:30 PM. |

How's this? Not so good, I think. I changed some of the facial features too much. Especially the cheeks. Last edited by Lukas Berger; 04-30-2010 at 06:37 PM. |
