Unable to use historic ballparks files

Trying to use the historic ballparks from Silvam.

Have downloaded several. But every time I go to team settings-edit ballpark, whether I try to manually import date or auto-import, it tells me that the import failed.

How do you do this once you have downloaded these files to the ballparks-models file?

Just checking but did you unzip the download or just download it straight to the model folder?

Hi, first many thanks for your answer. Okay I was just downloading it straight to the model folder. So, following some of the directions you linked to, I downloaded it to my Desktop, and then unzipped it. I now see that there are different files for these ballparks. But I am not able to copy and paste the park or the obj. file into the models file, at least not without upgrading to a different level of the zip software I downloaded to do this.

Any advice would be again appreciated it. Here is what my screen looks like:

Each 3D stadium has a folder named after that particular stadium...

Example: Angel_Stadium_1966-1987_v1_4

This entire folder as is (unzipped of course) must reside in the ballparks/models folder for the game to recognize it...

Then to load or assign the park to a team in the game, follow Tiger Fan's instructions in the link in his post above...

Thank you txranger and everyone else ! I FINALLY got it to work. Played a Yankees game in the old, original Yankee Stadium. Gave me goosebumps, without Gossage pitching too ! (bad pun).

Took some playing around with it, but following your basic principles and those in the link provided by TigerFan, I am in with the historical parks ! What a difference !
