Fictional CSV Files
Created csv files using historical players but with - let's call them fictional stats. I have batting2, fielding2, fieldingof2, master and pitching2 files. When I try to import a player from these files I get an unable to import error unless I add the historical_database.odb to the folder with my created csv files. However, then the imported player has his real stats from the historical_database rather than the fictional stats from the csv files. Can anyone help with what I'm missing? Thanks in advance.

at minimum there are 11 needed files. The best way is to insert your files into the existing stats folder. be aware that the names of your files mean they will only work neutralized if at all. If that is not your intention remove the 2.

Could you, at some time, elaborate and illustrate just how this could be accomplished? Maybe some pictures and templates for nitwits like myself? Thank you for all your great work!

Well, it might all be moot for OOTP18. Beta testing by the beta testerers will sort this sort of thing out in a fictional biblical sense.

Well, then, I will await the GENESIS of their readings!
