old timer - is there anyway for me to send you my managers.dat file and have you edit my bithday, make my owner anything but 'horror', and edit the path to my photo? I've tried using a hex editor, but I don't see anything to edit except for the name of my wife. Thanks for any help, Todd[B] |

thanks for your editor its great...
in my first season after 47 games I stupidly edited (turned off manager mode using the utility) the game then just minimized it instead of closing it before I turned manager mode back on what happened was my profile got erased. so I just started a new manager profile - nothing else would be affected right... thanks |

I just downloaded this and wanted to use it to edit some of the players' service time, since the game isn't counting it correctly. But it doesn't look like this is editable when I turn on the editor. Is it? how do you do it? is this because that information wasn't included in OOTP5, for which the utility was originally intended? Is it possible or planned to update the utility so you can edit service time?
edit - never mind, looks like this is something pierre's editor will be able to do eventually... Last edited by nestajones; 07-06-2004 at 11:01 PM. |

OldTimer...Im having a hard time with this. I thought I put this file into my league file, But when I try to open it a screen appears saying It must be in the league file. I then DL that additional file you said that I may need however still no dice. Can you list the step by step directions? Thank you for the help.\

BTW...not sure if this helps...I have the OOTP6 version and I have a windows 98ME operating system...I want to be able to adjust the players abilities and I saw that I could be in manager mode, turn it off..make the changes and then turn it back on....again, a step by step process would be very helpful, thank you so much for your time!

1) Extract the contents of the .zip into your league folder (all league folders end with .lg).
2) Open your league folder, and run Toggle_MM.exe. 3) Turn manager mode off. 4) Close the MM_Toggler. 5) Go into OOTP and do your thing. 6) Close OOTP 7) Run MM_Toggle.exe 8) Turn Manager Mode back on. That's how it worked in OOTP5, I have never tried using it in OOTP6. |

Question
Is there a way to edit a manager after using this utility. See, my problem is somehow after using this utility a million times with no problems, the last time I used it I couldn't turn it off and had to resort to creating a new manager profile for my self. When doing this of course, my managing stats and owner mood and salary were all reset. my question is "Is there a utility or way to go into my original manager profile or the new one and edit it to be like the old one with all of my old records and things.
