GM of International tournament teams

Has FHM 6 added a way to add yourself as the GM of International tournament teams yet? I typically play as an OHL franchise, and would like to also be able to GM various USA international teams. Has this been figured out yet for this version of the game?

You have to be invited to coach an international team. If you're low on the reputation pole, it will take some time before you get a chance with a top-tier program like Canada, USA, Sweden, etc.

But like, why? You can select any NHL team to manage, but intl teams are invite only? Not even in commissioner mode? Doesn't really make any sense. Seems like an obvious feature.

Any plans to add this at all? I'm still on FHM 4, and to be honest I probably won't be upgrading unless this is fixed, no real reason to.

If you are playing in OHL it shouldn't take it too long before you get job offers from bigger nations, at the begining it will be from U17 or U18 teams, but better than nothing

Appreciate the feedback, but this answer essentially amounts to "Deal with it". I mean I guess that's not much different than the first response, but still.

I had always been under the impression that these were supposed to be sandbox games, this is like restricting part of the sandbox it seems.

I'll keep an eye out for future versions where this is corrected, FHM 4 will have to do until then.

It's not really a high priority. It's not a feature that's requested much because I think most people recognize as the game points out - it's an honor, not a right.

This isn't to say it won't come in the future, but our development time continues to go to where our current players want it to be.

I've seen other folks request this as well. Generally, when the community makes a reasonable request, it ends up in the game eventually. But with a small dev team, it just takes a while to get there.
