How does Luxury Tax work in game/Salary cap issues?
Ok , can anyone explain how luxury tax works in this game? When does it kick in, and how does it impact budgets? I can't seem to figure it out. I'm trying to get more than just big market teams to spend money, but it doesn't seem to be impacting player salary budgets.
Also having issues with a salary cap. I put one in about 8 years into the league, hoping to level the playing field, but it doesn't seem to work. First, its not really being enforced, as big market teams are going over the cap, and secondly, it seems to be preventing id-size market teams from spending money, as owners are just pocketing the increased revenue instead of putting back into their teams.
Is there a way to set a salary floor, in other works, forcing owners spend x percent of revenue on player salaries and player development/scouting?
