Any Idea When Last Update to OOTP 19 Will Be Released?
Each year, I play a season of my fictional league with the previous year's version of OOTP (which I purchase when it's on sale during the offseason). Last year, I played with OOTP 18, and this year will be with OOTP 19.
But I always wait until after the last update is released for the version of OOTP I will be playing with before importing my league (now 5 years old) from the previous version. Does anyone (Marcus?) have a rough target date for when updates will stop happening for OOTP 19 (other than when OOTP 20 is released)? Thanks! Last edited by DirkGildun; 01-31-2019 at 09:26 AM. |

I would not expect any further updates.
The bunch of updates we had in December/January were necessary because of PT improvements - they didn't include meaningful updates on the "regular" OOTP19 So I guess we've seen the last v19 updates - and v20 most likely is less than two months away.

Yeah, none of the recent patches have really touched the base game, and there's no more patches planned that will affect that. We may still have another PT-related patch, I'm not sure what the plan exactly there remains.

Any need for me to update from 19.8 Build 79?
I have no interest in Perfect Team.

There were a couple small fixes for non-PT stuff between .8 and .14, especially patch 9 did add a few things to improve startup/sim speed, and some in-game AI tweaks. So we would still recommend everyone update eventually just to make sure you're running on the latest version, but if you are not interested in PT, then certainly it's not overly urgent.

update coming
Marcus tells me a small update is coming later because the last update created some problems in the automatic schedule creator. I don't know if anything else will be thrown in or not.

Well, the update came out, but now when I'm trying to create the league I want it gets hung up on "Clearing Schedule" and the program becomes unresponsive and I have to stop it through Task Manager.
Guess the fix will be OOTP20. |

My save keeps crashing now after latest update, pretty clever making the game unplayable just before 20 comes out.

I don't think they broke the game on purpose, but yeah, their money is made with this one. Hopefully it's a small fix and they can patch the patch, before the patch becomes the 40$ patch next month |
