Or maybe people are using the cards until they get knocked out of the playoffs/playoff race, then posting them to see what kind of bites they can get. My Williams is still the only one I've seen on the AH. I'm going to post him probably every week (at a crazy price) once I'm knocked out.

There's one on the AH right now, and it looks like one sold for 249k at some point.

Thanks for the heads up, looks pretty awesome! But what is the avoid Ks I wonder??? That's his live card's biggest weakness IMO, though the +10ish on each of the main pitching ratings and his contact are plenty scary...

I would if I had the points but that's what $400 dollars to get within 50K of the Buy now price or nearly 300 just to enter a bid? That's more money than I'm willing to spend personally. But more power to him (and to the devs if someone buys that many points.)

Why is it even possible to enter numbers this large into the field?

Oof, that card is nice. Basically max stuff, plus 80+ each in movement and control? It's gotta be the best pitching card in the set, right?

Well, there IS a cap. The 2b PP that Ryan Burr card is offered for is (2^31 - 1). They're giving you four bytes to work with, and not one bit more!

The ongoing "perfect Honus Wagner" auction will probably break all records. The current highest bid is 500001 PT with more than 7 hours left.

That is really a math question. Would I like a perfect Honus Wagner, or would I like to have car insurance for almost all of 2019?

Well, let's spin it this way … *everybody* else has car insurance; so why do I need some, too?

I would not call him a clown until the auction expires. If he finds only a single idiot to bid at that rate, he's rather a genius.

I wouldn't call him a clown anyways. That guy on here that sold his Doc Gooden for well above what it should have sold for started it off at some crazy price and dropped it 100k or so each time it didn't sell.

Anchor points are real, and people fall for them all the time. Get it in someone's head that this cards something special and they'll jump as soon as they think it's a steal, even if it's still listed at 2 or 3x it's actual relative value.
