No, we don't use neutralized stats at all in the roster set.

Jon Gray is listed as sidearm, for some reason. Furthermore, his 55 stuff seems way low, given that his career K/9 is well above 9.0.

Edit:
Also, German Marquez, Kyle Freeland, Ryan Castellani, and Yency Almonte are all listed as Sidearm, despite definitely not being that IRL.

Mike Mayers is no longer starting and, according to this article, has dropped two pitches. He has a chance at making the Cardinals roster. The AI slots him in AA.

Also, with John Brebbia and Tyler Lyons. I could just not be clicking with the ratings, but their movement seems low, Brebbia (35) and Lyons (40). Brebbia's HR/9 was 1.4 last year, and Lyons was 0.5. I do have scouting off.

Just my 2 cents.

Don't see this mentioned (searched the thread). JD Martinez is listed as a first baseman instead of an outfielder.

On the MLB Quickstart Don Baylor is listed as an available manager. He passed away in 2017.

Those arm slots will be the death of me. I thought we had them fixed

That's just where the ai is playing him since he's a pretty bad OF. Not much we can do about that.

Both are set according to their ZIPS projections. Brebbia did allow a lot of HR's last year (as you note) and is an extreme flyball pitcher.

In OOTP 18, it was fairly easy to offer a contract/extension with team options lacking any promised buyout. However, I have found it impossible to offer any team options without the player demanding a buyout, usually around 10 percent of the option year's full value. Is there a reason for this change? I never had players demand buyouts and now it's gone to the opposite extreme.

Just curious...is that a complaint? If so, that doesn’t make sense because it is closer to reality. Offering a player a 10 mil option with no buyout is sort of an exploit if you ask me.

Scouting issues, contract offers, all that is ai related.

It would be great to post that stuff in general or maybe as bug reports, but if we can keep this thread for roster set specific issues (specifically player related things) that would make it a lot easier for us to keep track of the actual roster issues.

Not sure if this is the right place, but done a few test runs so far and Trevor Rosenthal always signs a contact for 2-3 million yet listed as being out for the season with TJS. Should the AI be signing him?

Luiz Gohara and Daniel Winkler are both listed as sidearm, but should be 3/4.

Ronald Acuna is going by Ronald Acuna Jr.

Anibal Sanchez is signed for 2.5M on the Braves after the most recent update, but he signed for $1M.

Peter Moylan is due a $625,000 roster bonus once he makes the roster, which he surely is going to. Might be best to just change his salary to the $1.2M total.
