Interesting that in the first year of the team's existence, they used Devil Rays unis even though they were a Mariner's affiliate.

The above set was made by ThatSeventiesGuy.

They're here:

You'll want to download the Historical Minor League Uniforms v1.3 pack and also the Southern Association Uniform Pack.
I have gotten No Pepper's and Txranger's fine collections.

Thank you for adding to my collection... you can never have too many choices when it come to logos, jerseys and caps/

Yes, this is the exact same team that played at the Single-A level for the next two years. Interesting for a team to switch from Triple-A to Single-A level in the course of one season.

I think this thread deserves to be "sticky." Right now, it's getting stuff added every day, but this seems like one that people will want to revisit over and over in the future.

Totally agree with lukaberger.

Skyballer455, your work is exemplary... really excellent.

I'm not good at logos and graphics, but I know the good ones when I see them.

You are up there with the best.

After working on other things for a while, I come back to the Logos, Graphics, and HTML thread, and I find that now this thread has been stickied.

WHAAAAAAAAAAT?

I'm quite shocked and pleasantly surprised to say the least. What have I been doing right?

I just wanted to inform you all that I sent txranger a message about becoming his apprentice, so to speak. I was inspired to do so by the accolades I have quoted above.

I hope to learn from him like he did from knuckler. It would be nice to get away from the web based jersey and cap makers, which anyone can use to get the same results I have gotten.

By the way, I'll be doing the Mariners rookie league affiliates very soon. I got caught up in others things, as I am prone to do. As there are very little pics of the rookie league teams, I think I'll just be making dark jerseys based on the major league team's look of the time.

I think that's a solid choice, since most AZL/GCL games are really not much different than extended spring training. I suspect they use "batting practice style" uniforms like you see in spring training games. Very colorful, probably just cap-style logos on the right side of the uniform. Pull-overs in the 1980s, moving towards button-downs in the 2000s.

That's how I would do it, anyway.

The cap and away jersey were made by ThatSeventiesGuy. The logo and home jersey were made by me. The jersey shading on the home jersey is based on reds1's jerseys.
