All the good names must be taken. We already have the Connecticut Defenders and now we have the American Defenders of New Hampshire.
Anyway, it's good to hear of their new management and I look forward to seeing their new logo. It should be completely different than Connecticut (which is a submarine). A Defender could be just about anything but it sounds like they have a military theme in mind.

That American Defenders name just sounds too long and that diamond Reno Aces looks like something that would of been made here. I don't know if that's a compliment to this board or a put down to the simplicity of that logo.
**edit** Here's the logo again, since it is one the first page. Last edited by truthserum; 09-30-2008 at 11:53 PM. |

The Chattanooga Lookouts (AA-Southern League), have change their affiliation from the Reds to the Dodgers. As a result, they have updated their uniforms.

Ugh...but considering the alternatives, I guess they did OK (see below). Maybe it'll grow on me. I have the Wizards in my league as a Cubs' farm team. I'm gonna have to decide whether to update them to Tin Caps. It does have a regional flair...
Other highly considered names: Generals, Kekiongas, River + Animal combo, Crabapples, Octane and Voltmen. Here's a better version of the logo:

Since the Buffalo Bisons have affiliated with the Mets, they have announced they'll have new colors, a new logo, and new uniforms. I suppose they'll use blue and orange, but they did not say one way or the other.

The Visalia Oaks of the California League (High A - Diamondbacks) will be revealing their new uniforms and logos later today.
Edit: Looks like they will be called the Visalia Rawhide.

Can folks, when posting caps/jerseys, also remember to post a team logo?
Great work, everyone.
