Pitcher suddenly becomes tired after 1 batter
Hoping someone can help with figuring this out. My starting pitcher gets tired after only a few pitches.
I watched the 1st two spring training games and let the AI manage, and he threw 4 innings as expected, the rest of the games I have simmed, and he keeps coming out after 1 or 2 batters. Cant see anything in strategy to cause this and my other pitchers are fine... well if you don't look at their ERA lol. This is a historic league that I started in 1960 in order to start playing with the 1961 angels. |

Must've been something in strategy, when I switched it to traditional, he pitched 6.1 innings.

Very strange. Do you by chance have Openers/Followers enabled? Hook settings seem normal? The interesting thing is he's 36% after less than 10 pitches...seems to indicate something other than strategy is influencing that quick hook.

I agree, something seems odd with the 36% fatigue, no openers/followers, basically straight setup of historical league, then I tinkered a bit with my team strategy sliders but nothing that should produce this effect.
All my other starters are operating normally also. Finally, just to try, on my team strategy page I used the drop down strategy presets menu and set it to Traditional, and all of a sudden next start he throws 120 pitches! |

Did you check his individual sliders? Probably not the problem but worth checking.
