Or is trying to funnel PP from one account to another - this is exactly how you'd do that (insane price, cheap player). Of course this is not allowed. I assume they were caught.

I didn't even think about this. Lame. I was hoping it was just some unbridled Markakis love, but this makes more sense.

Even if you stop this from happening, have fun trying to stop a guy from selling 18 guys for 1000 each or 180 guys for 100 each.
There will need to be alarms going off when one license is selling players to itself or one license is selling too many players to one other license. |

Or... maybe this stat is wrong due to an overflow error or some other bug. |

If you still have overflow errors in 2018, you did something very, very, very wrong, though.
Although thinking about it, which was the OOTP Version that displayed the 257th draft round as the 1st round? Edit: OOTP 17 still had an overflow bug as described here: http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...d.php?t=266039

You're awfully quick to dismiss every single post showing that somebody more than likely abused the system to transfer currency between teams as a "display error". There's a few of these posts. There's zero posts that I have seen showing the dev team actively took care of cheating individuals. All I've seen is that there are things put in place to catch people...maybe. People are putting some of their own money in this. They have a right to be worried about other people cheating and getting an unfair advantage for free. They sure deserve a better answer than "oh yeah, probably a display error". |

This one is an illegal PP funneling method. We have not taken actions yet during beta, but we have developed monitoring systems. Once we launch on Wednesday we will start acting on violations and ban users who try to cheat.

If a situation is found like the one shown where cheating was done, is it possible to remove the transaction from the player's history so it doesn't distort his true highest and average bids, or is that too much work? |
