please help with windows 8 settings
I previously loaded 2014 on windows 8 and haven't played it since because the font is incredibly small. when I saw 2015 had come out I had hoped this issue would be fixed. Unfortunately it is the same.
Can anyone help? I am running windows 8 on a Lenovo 2 in 1. Thank you so much. |

FYI I'm running windows 8 and haven't had an issue in either v14 or v15 regarding font size. I leave it at the default and it is fine.

What is your screen size. There are physical limitations with regard to high resolution and small screens.
What type of 2 and 1 is it?

I run Windows 8 with 1920X1080 and I can see everything fine. I do have a big screen.

Same here. Running Windows 8 for v14, and having no problems, so far...

For us old folks, 15 and a large monitor and the small font were just a bit much to see comfortably.
Regardless of the machine type, you can set the font size to what you want in the settings tab. You must close and re-start for it to take affect. but there are three settings. Hopefully one will work for you. (I use standard)

Those Yoga 2 Pros have a crazy-high resolution - 3200 x 1800, squeezed into a 13.3 inch display. The DPI is the culprit (I brought the issue up back in February, but Markus never responded).
There's no real true fix for it, but there is a fairly easy workaround: http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...ml#post3644992 |

I'm fine on my Lenovo Ideapad at 1920X1080 and 15.5" display. It would be difficult to imagine going to a smaller screen or higher resolution and being comfortable.
Also to repeat something that's maybe not been made clear. You can independently adjust OOTP resolution without affecting the device resolution. That seems to be an obvious fix FWIW.
