FSL League - 10+ Years Converting to OOTP 21

League Website: https://statsplus.net/fsl/home/
StatsPlus Website: https://statsplus.net/fsl/

NOTE: This league was started on OOTP 19 and we are now finishing the 2031, 13 full seasons now. We are now on OOTP 21 and the original link to our league posting is: http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...d.php?t=287046

Good afternoon everyone, I am currently the commish of the Federal Baseball League (FBL - https://statsplus.net/fsl/home/) and we are a modern-day league that began with a fantasy draft on OOTP 19 (now on OOTP 21). Some features of the league are:
Reduced minor league teams to AAA, AA, A, A- and Rookie League for simplicity to manage.
Complete control of your franchise from day 1 where we all start on a level playing field.
League financials that will mirror real-life markets.
Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday sim schedule for maximum team management.
Scouts will be on, coaches off with a 20-80 rating scale.
Scouting accuracy will be very high.
The use of Stats Plus and communication with Slack (everything will be completed in Slack).
And much more!

The rule book can be found at: https://statsplus.net/fsl/home/?page_id=2

If you are interested in a team, please feel free to PM me your team choice and email address or send me an email at bwyant32@gmail.com .

CURRENT OPENINGS: - 2031 Off Season

Seattle Mariners (49-113)

Minor League System Rank: 20th

Financial Status:

Budget - $188 Million
Payroll - $104 million
Overall Health - Plenty of room

Team Link - https://statsplus.net/fsl/team/54?page=roster

Seattle is a rebuild project. They have a few young pieces to build around but they hold the best odds to land the #1 pick in the Draft Lottery. The upcoming draft is LOADED and they have a chance to land the potential #1 prospect in the league. We have an active simulation schedule so a rebuild would not take you months in real time.

We have a great group of guys so please let me know via email at bwyant32@gmail.com or PM if you are interested.

Current openings as we enter the off season of the 2027 season:

San Diego Padres (57-85)

Minor League System Rank: 22nd

Financial Status:

Budget - $170 Million
Payroll - $133 million
Overall Health - Budget spenders but room to grow

Team Link - https://statsplus.net/fsl/team/53?page=roster

San Diego is a win-now team that could sell a few assets for top end prospects. They have been without an active owner for half a season and could benefit from someone that knows what they are doing.

-----------------------------------

Arizona Diamondbacks (59-84)

Minor League System Rank: 3rd

Financial Status:

Budget - $128 Million
Payroll - $46 million
Overall Health - Very strong

Team Link - https://statsplus.net/fsl/team/31?page=roster

Arizona has a loaded farm system with a team that could take over the NL West in a season or two. They have tons of room on the payroll to add pieces. They have two five-star middle infielders in AAA ready to own the majors. They also have a 21 year old SP that is the number 3 prospect in the league already in the majors. This owner left the team in amazing shape and a great, easy run for a new owner.

Oakland Athletics (72-90)

Minor League System Rank: 21st

Financial Status:

Budget - $130 Million
Payroll - $141 million (new owners get a free player cut and one cut will put them under budget)
Overall Health - Budget Spenders

Team Link - https://statsplus.net/fsl/team/31?page=roster

Oakland went all in two seasons ago and won the World Series. They are a team that has pieces, they just need a dedicated owner (which they didn't have last season).

We are currently in the first Free Agency stage in the offseason so now is a good time to join.

One of my veteran owners is moving to an expansion team and leaving a team in pretty good position. With that said, I have one opening:

Atlanta Braves (32-40)

Minor League System Rank: 5th

Financial Status:

Budget - $164 Million
Payroll - $80 million (new owners get a free player cut)
Overall Health - Great

Team Link - https://statsplus.net/fsl/team/32?page=roster

Atlanta has one of the best farm systems in the league and in this league prospects are like gold. Atlanta has the #6, 31, 33, and 35th best prospects in the league including the #1 overall pick from the recent draft. As I mentioned, the current owner is moving to an expansion team that will be arriving after this season.

Good morning, we are advertising for a very good opening in our league. The FSL is a very active league that has been going for over 10 seasons with some very good owners. We have a very active Slack group and there is always a good discussion.

Today's opening:

Seattle Mariners (56-51)

Minor League System Rank: 10th

Top Prospects:
LF S. Hansen #16 overall
CF M. Farnsworth #24 overall
P S. Zapata #57 overall
P J. Carapinheiro #95 overall

Financial Status:

Budget - $180 Million
Payroll - $67 million (new owners get a free player cut)
Overall Health - Tons of room to make an impact

Team Link - https://statsplus.net/fsl/team/54?page=roster

Seattle has been controlled by the same owner for quite awhile now. They have some of the best SP in the league as well only 6 players over the age of 30 on their 26 man active roster. SP Juan Ortega is only 24 and is a superstar in the making. This team will not last long and it is a new GM's dream to take over.

We are approaching our final regular season sim of the year and we have one opening:

St. Louis Cardinals (64-92)

Minor League System Rank: 9th

Top Prospects:
CF J. Shalosky (#20 overall)
P K. Ray (#23 overall)
P Z. Tookes (#27 overall)

Financial Status:

Budget - $234 Million
Payroll - $167 million (new owners get a free player cut)
Overall Health - Top end spenders

Team Link - https://statsplus.net/fsl/team/56?page=roster

St. Louis, with an active owner, can be a damn good team to pick up. They have a huge budget, a top 10 minor league system, and some solid core players. Given the fact new owners can cut one player for free, the right move could free up a ton of space for the off season. We will also be adding two expansion teams this off season so now would be a perfect time to join!

St. Louis filled but I have another opening from a long time owner who had something come up.

Boston Red Sox (84-78)

Minor League System Rank: 17th

Top Prospects:
2B G. Nauta (#8 overall)
CF A. Sarretti (#92 overall)

Financial Status:

Budget - $310 Million
Payroll - $154 million (new owners get a free player cut)
Overall Health - Tons of budget space

https://statsplus.net/fsl/team/34?page=roster

Boston was controlled by a long-time owner who did really well with the team. They have a core group of players that are 25-29 years of age with tons of budget space. This team certainly won't last long.

PM me here or email me at bwyant32@gmail.com if you are interested.

Seattle is looking for an owner.

Seattle Mariners (20-18), currently in 1st place

Minor League System Rank: 21st

Top Prospects:
P A. Castillano #73 overall
P S. Zapata #49 overall
2B C. Standt #77 overall
3B K. Stern #97 overall

Financial Status:

Budget - $190 Million
Payroll - $94 million (new owners get a free player cut)
Overall Health - Tons of room to make an impact

Team Link - https://statsplus.net/fsl/team/54?page=roster

Seattle is looking for an active owner. This team has the tools to compete and continue to build for the future; they just need an active leader.

PM me here or email me at bwyant32@gmail.com if you are interested.

Seattle filled quickly.

I now have two VERY amazing teams open for ownership as the previous owner(s) were removed for violations. Both teams are win now and dynasty caliber. Here they are:

Texas Rangers (31-13), currently in 1st place

Minor League System Rank: 18th

Top Prospects:
P O. Habersham (#16 overall)
RF C. Rubenstein (#24 overall)
P K. Nixon (#76 overall)

Financial Status:

Budget - $270 Million
Payroll - $172 million (new owners get a free player cut)
Overall Health - Dynasty and defending WS champs

Team Link - https://statsplus.net/fsl/team/58?page=roster

Texas is loaded. They have the best catcher in the league and boast top 5 in five other positions. They are young, controllable, and in a fairly competitive division. They can be a win now team and well into the future.

Los Angeles Dodgers (20-22), currently in 3rd place but only 3 games back

Minor League System Rank: 24th

Top Prospects:
P D. Hudson (#61 overall)
CF R. Luna (#88 overall)

Financial Status:

Budget - $276 Million
Payroll - $227 million (new owners get a free player cut)
Overall Health - Dynasty team

Team Link - https://statsplus.net/fsl/team/45?page=roster

Los Angeles is also loaded and very controllable. They are top 5 in five positions and top 10 in all but 2B and C. The team has some salary friendly extensions and is built for a long run. The also won 102 games last season.

Dodgers were claimed, only Texas remains:

Texas Rangers (31-13), currently in 1st place

Minor League System Rank: 18th

Top Prospects:
P O. Habersham (#16 overall)
RF C. Rubenstein (#24 overall)
P K. Nixon (#76 overall)

Financial Status:

Budget - $270 Million
Payroll - $172 million (new owners get a free player cut)
Overall Health - Dynasty and defending WS champs

Team Link - https://statsplus.net/fsl/team/58?page=roster

The last few teams were claimed quickly but another team came open.

Atlanta Braves (43-58), currently in 3rd place

Minor League System Rank: 7th

Top Prospects:
3B J. Sanderson (#11 overall)
CF R. Boston (#43 overall)
P A. Borja (#46 overall)
P P. Kovich (#60 overall)
CF J. Tapia (#67 overall)

Financial Status:

Budget - $158 Million
Payroll - $74 million (new owners get a free player cut)
Overall Health - Plenty of space

Team Link - https://statsplus.net/fsl/team/32?page=roster

Atlanta is in a very tough division but they have one of the best minor league systems in the league. There is tons of young talent to build around and make this team a competitor within the next couple seasons.

If you are interested, please email me at bwyant32@gmail.com.

Thank you!

A very rare opening:

Boston Red Sox (71-55), currently in 2nd place

Minor League System Rank: 30th

Financial Status:

Budget - $290 Million
Payroll - $199 million (new owners get a free player cut)
Overall Health - Massive Market with Plenty of space

Team Link - https://statsplus.net/fsl/team/34?page=roster

Boston is pure win now. They have a very deep major league roster with most of their talent below the age of 30. They also have a massive budget which allows very deep flexibility - this team will not last long.

If you are interested, please email me at bwyant32@gmail.com.

Thank you!
