Deleting Built-in Draftees

What file do I have to delete to eliminate the draftees pre-programmed into the game from appearing, so that I only get players from feeders?

It's a option in league setup. If you're feeder is creating enough players though by default the game won't produce any auto generated players.

I forgot to circle it but it's where it says feeder league plus additional players just switch it to feeder league only. You can also get to the screen from the league settings page if you're league is already going. I just used the league creation page to show you.

I have it at that, but the players still generate. I'm talking about the MLB Quickstart.

It works fine in my fictional Greek Baseball League, but not there for some reason.

You're not generating enough players. And your screen shot is telling it to generate players still.

"Generate players for X Rounds" should be 0.

I can't tell it looks like a 6 in the screenshot at least. If that is 0 you need more feeder teams. 25 should in theory be enough but I would do 30-40 to be safe and have extra free agents. For a five round draft at least.

Damn, I hate telephones I didn't know that wasn't your screenshot. How many rounds are you drafting and how many feeder teams do you have?

Lol. I'm doing 35 rounds. 2 college leagues and 4 high school leagues. My problem is that I end up with 4000 players even though I have the draft to only come from my feeder leagues, and there are a lot of built in players (Brendan Rogers, Daz Cameron, etc.) that I don't want.

How many teams are in those leagues? For 35 rounds of a MLB (30 TEAM) draft, you need to have at LEAST 175 feeder TEAMS. Amount of leagues is irrelevant.

My early thought is that he's light on teams, or he has a setting nerfed that's causing players to still be generated.

I'll definitely post once I've seen the screenshots.

That looks good. This is after the setting reverted, correct?

To clarify, everyone -- his teams appeared to be good, but the "Generate Players for X Rounds" had a tendency (at least in past versions) to revert to Number of Rounds in draft, plus one round, after initial league setup.

I'd had it happen before to where if I didn't go back and check my settings after a league would start, that setting would sometimes revert to (in his case, it would be 36) and generate all of those extra players on top of the feeders.

Isaac sent me a PM telling me that number had reverted, so that's what I'm going off of now. The screenshot he just posted appears to be perfectly setup now.

EDIT: As you can see now, under his "Feeder League Players Only" he now gets the notification that no extra players are required for the next draft class. I would wager his problem will be fixed now.

Yep, it was just that setting reverting. Just to be safe, every year on the night before the draft pool is released, check and make sure the player generation is off and that it hasn't reverted and you should be just fine.
