OOTP 3, if I remember correctly. Actually won it a pre-launch party at the ESPN Zone in Atlanta. I answered a trivia question that I believe involved Bob Horner.

Found out about the game right before 12 came out, played the tutorial of 11. Been hooked ever since.

Version 2. Liked 4 alot. Loved folding OOTP5 into ITP. 6.5 though was the best to me, just for fun sake.

For me it was version 3 thru OOTP X. Skipped 11 and 12. Got the itch again watching the World Baseball Classic and grabbed 13. I sense I'll be buying every version again, at least for a few years.

6.5 for me I think. Or maybe it was 6, not sure.

I skipped a couple versions I think, then have bought every one from 9 to the present.

6.5 was sweet, but 10 and on have been even better.

OOTP 2

BBpro before discovering OOTP and was blown away by the idea of HTML reports for every player in the league!

Since OOTP2....been hooked ever since. I have probably played 10,000 games over the course of this timeframe....maybe more.

Doing the math, probably equates to around 4 cents per game or overall hour played....Talk about monies worth.

I love the threads where folks stress on spending $40 on the game, not having played it before. I just kinda chuckle and think "that will be the best $40 you ever spend"

I think that I started with OOTP 10, but I can't remember if I only played the demo of that and bought 11, or if I bought 10 itself.

haha, my wife says, "all you do is sit there and stare at numbers for hours", which technically she isn't wrong, but we all know there is soooooooooo much more to OOTP than numbers!
