I've been defending reality against fools. Total time spent on this thread: less than five minutes. And, since I generally post when stopped at a red light or such or waiting for someone or something, I didn't even waste a useful five minutes on it.

Tell you what, you do what you choose and I'll do what I choose.

Your 1,000 posts per year average indicates otherwise. Face it, you live here.

The first step in treating your problem is admitting you have one.

I'm perfectly happy with 13. Just finished sweeping a 4 game set from my division rival. When 14 gets released and the 2nd patch is out, I'll be downloading.

Dan, i'm with you on this one. I'm enjoying OOTP 13 - having a blast. And I also prefer to wait and grab games a patch or two into the burn - generally a less buggy experience and a cleaner game all in all. Truth is, I'm enjoying 13 to the point that unless there are enough realllllly huge changes/improvements to make upgrading to 14 worth my while and my dollars - I probably will skip the newer version unless there is no other alternative to grab a current 2013 roster set.

You seem to be the one with the problem. And the attitude.

I post here and on some other baseball boards during otherwise wasted time. If you have a problem with that, well, that's just your problem.

I frequently post here and in a former life, I had over 8,000 posts. Add my current post count to that and ponder it. Frequent posting indicates an intense interest in the game, not a "problem" that one must admit to.

The Wolf has contributed more to this game than you two combined. If it has taken him 7,000+ posts to do so, then I for one can excuse him for his loquaciousness.

Don't we count on posters in these forums to contribute and help new players to the game find things or understand things they don't know how to do along with discussing features or the best way to go about something in the game. I am glad there are people who post a lot here.

Putting someone down for having posted a lot in the age where everything takes three seconds at your finger tips with ease is silly. It is not as if he is sitting in his parent's basement on dial up wasting his life.

Let me point out something else for you, and then I will let the matter drop (why I am still a bit ticked off today about this is puzzling). When either of you have been THANKED over 1,200 times in these forums, or even come close, THEN you will have earned the right to criticize somebody who has, merely on the basis of posting too much. Thanks count is probably a much more important barometer of forum worthiness than post count in my opinion. Your combined thanks count: 22.

Now, if either of you want to attack me for being on medications or talking too much, have at it. Unlike The Wolf, who, unfortunately for him, has not developed a tough enough skin to ignore pettiness and therefore descends into stupid bickering too often, I have. Being a Yankees fan has helped in that regard. Fire away, dudes!

Now, sages and knuckleheads, every year this thread is repeated with the same results. And every year, some wise person essentially ends the thread with this observation (with what follows descending into foolishness). This year's winner is:

Post numbers probably mean more to the individual anyway. What i mean is people woulsnt know from the numbers how many posts are just yes or no answers. I know im not gonna look through anyones posts just to see if thats the case. So i dont think a high post count means a person is on the board. They may have shorter answers or they may just read the.boards a lot.

Being a Yankees fan, I think medications would help.
