Year 3 Historical Looking For 3 GMs (1987-88 Offseason)

After 33 seasons, the TBBL is transitioning to OOTP13 and thus starting over with a new baseball universe. We will begin in 1986 and adhere to all financial and CBA rules in that season and transition realistically into the 21st century....and beyond. This means in 1993 we will add two more teams and the Wild Card, in 98 there will be two more teams and yes our own steroid era! In 2012 we will add the 2nd WC, and I guarantee this league will get to present day sometime. This current file started right around OOTP9's release date and will end just before Halloween, a period of nearly 4 calendar years and I intend on making good on this file making it that far.

Update: We have completed three seasons and the next sim is Free Agency Sim #1 through Winter Meetings

TBBL was conceived back in 2005 so this league has been running for over 7 years now. This is easily the best league I have been apart of. I am a former commish who is currently "retired" but I had to come back and vogue for this league. Easily my most enjoyable experience gaming online. You'll love it!

Would love to manage Montreal. Are they still available?

Toronto, Milwaukee, Baltimore, White Sox, California, St. Louis, Philadelphia, Montreal, Los Angeles, & Atlanta

As soon as rigelstar submits his application Montreal will be gone, had some passing interest in a guy who wanted St. Louis as well. So the teams are falling off the board fast.

Tentative first sim is set to be 10/24

I would be interested in taking the Atlanta Braves if they are still available.

Responded to all PMs. Posting on the league board is the only way to guarantee your spot.

Click OOTP13 discussion, then League Information and post your AIM name either in GM list or Waiting list.

We just had two owners drop out, however upon a roll call we just got 20 owners to check in, which means this is a very ACTIVE league.

There are 3 teams open. White Sox, Orioles and the Tigers. Spring Training will be over the next two days with Opening Day on Friday.

We run 3-4 sims per week. Literally every other day, so sometimes its 3 sims a week other times it's 4. Each sim is generally a little over 2 weeks unless there is an important deadline, ASB, Trade Deadline etc.

Still Openings?

I'd like Baltimore if still available.

Well we started off hot and had a bunch of people sign up but unfortunately we've had some inactivity issues. The post at the top is entirely up to date. Currently there are 8 teams open where you can jump in immediately, or if you'd like to wait a few days you'll have your choice of the other 6 teams.

I want active owners, if that means simply you don't have an export or changes for a sim just drop a quick line on the message board saying no changes or something, post a trade block, post something not even related to the league I don't care.

Currently we are just short of the All-Star break, we average around 4-5 weeks per complete season (from opening day to opening day) so it's a fairly quick league with the idea of getting to present day ASAP.

Inquire on the board, post in the waiting list topic which is inside league information or drop me a line on AIM.

Thanks.

Just finished 1986 with our World Series winners, the Toronto Blue Jays.

Plenty of good teams still available, and we're taking a holiday break so there is plenty of time to get in before the next sim. We'll be starting with arbitration offers and the first days of free agency, so now is the time to shape your team for the foreseeable future.

Inquire on the board or via my AIM, looking for good, reliable owners.

Come join a fun league while we head into free agency between the 1986 / 1987 seasons! There are unfortunately a number of teams open, so please come help us fill up!
