I'm doing something silly
First off, I know its completely unrelated to anything OOTP wise, but I know people seem to be decent, kindhearted fellows/fellowesses on here.
Little bit of backstory.. About 2 weeks ago marked the 4 year anniversary of my nans passing due to lung cancer. It wasn't a pleasant experience watching her become frail, bedridden and then finally with tubes in her. For the last few years, my sister has been dealing with breast cancer, and i've had to sit there with her while she went through chemotherapy. 2016 has been hell for me, with the long and the short of it being I had to walk away from my home and start anew. It gives you a different perspective on life. And with that in mind, I've decided to do something silly to help others.. Now, I'm a hairy bloke. I've had a beard since I was in my early teens, my hair is usally scruffy and I have enough hair on my arms and legs to keep a small family warm. I've decided that if I can raise enough money for Cancer Research then I'm going to allow parts to be waxed/shaved. I set up a JustGiving page here. If any of you want to donate, then that will be amazing. If you want to share it with people you know and they donate, then I'll be forever grateful. I've set a target of £300 ($372 or your regional equivalent) and i'm already £100 there. I'd love to smash that target to pieces.. Thanks for reading and anything you can offer. |

I wish I could... but I'm cash strapped right now. Best of luck to you and your sister.

I appreciate the thought anyway.
I hit the first mini milestone so I'm definitely losing some hair. I also setup a text donation. It's WAXX80 and then the amount to 70070 |

I don't particularly want to constantly flood the board with messages about this but Friday is when I go ahead with the planned shear
Currently the total stands at £216.25 and only needs £83.75 or about $111 to hit the target. Any help is greatly appreciated if you haven't already. |

I might be mistaken, but I think you can donate your hair (from your head ) to organizations that then make wigs for chemo patients.
