Question on Day to Day Injuries
I have three players on my team who have day to day injuries, and I have a question on that type of injury. Is there any advantage to resting those players? Does the time of their injury decrease if they are not playing? Or does that not make any difference so I should just play them anyway?

Sometimes guys who play through day-to-day injuries suffer worse injuries as a result. Often the only effect is slightly worse performance, which may not matter much.
At the moment, for instance, I have a team whose power hitting 1B has a day-to-day that affects only his throwing, so I'm leaving him in the lineup. If his hitting were affected, I'd probably bench him until he recovered. |

There is one situation where not playing them helps them come back faster. Sometimes you'll get the situation where they can play through the injury but the return time is "unknown". You'll get a message from the trainer saying the less they play, the sooner they'll heal. In those situations, I try to rotate in the backup a lot.
Also, if you click on the player in the lower left you can see how much the DTD injury effects running, throwing, and hitting. If a pitcher has a moderate DTD injury on throwing, I strongly consider the DL. Or an outfielder with moderate running/hitting, for instance. |

And I'll just say, as the shrewd GM that I am, a DTD is a good opportunity to get someone off my team for a month that I can't get rid of in any other reasonably acceptable way
