The Superbas just couldn't get it done as they fell to the Reds 1-0.

The Reds beat up Brooklyn today, beating them 7-1.

Both the Pirates and Phillies won so Brooklyn is now in 3rd.

Brooklyn lost to the Cardinals 3-2 in 13 innings.

The Superbas are still 2 games back, but now the Phillies and Pirates are tied in 1st and Brooklyn is tied with the Reds. Tight race!

Brooklyn tied it up in the top of the 9th but gave up the game in the bottom half, losing 7-6 to the Cardinals.

Arturo Aguirre had 3 RBI. Bill Keister left the game with an undiagnosed injury after a successful pinch-hitting opportunity.

This was a heart-breaker. Tom Jones hit a pinch-hit walk-off RBI-single in the 9th to give the Cubs a 1-0 win.

Larry Davis hit a home run and Phil Dunn had 3 hits and a equal number of RBI while Ken Davis pitched a great game.... and they needed all of it as Mike O'Neill was horrible in the last two farms as Brooklyn held on to a 9-6 win over the Cardinals.
