Football GM (totally free but no coaching mode) Basketball GM is much better because you can edit the .json file for custom leagues.

Well, it's not Football, but it's from OOTP Developments - what about Franchise Hockey Manager 3?

No. Any serious problems?

Front Office Football does a very good job of a game that produces realistic results that are every bit as frustrating and challenging as winning with a real football team is. My only problem with it is that being good at certain aspects of the game doesn't feel like anything to do with making good football decisions, it feels like learning the game engine, which isn't necessarily straightforward. But if you're looking for the the fun of assembling a team and seeing if they've got what it takes, this one surely has it.
My favorite non-OOTP sports strategy game is NFL Head Coach 09 for Xbox 360. That one is excellent, the only thing that keeps me from playing it more is that other sims can be played passively, while that one requires constant input.

Oh, I guess I should've been more specific. What I meant was there anything bad about the game. I've never played it myself.

There is a demo, but it's only single player and this will be boring fast. But you can find quite good fun in online multiplayer leagues! Check: Weekend Warriors Pro Football Last edited by Templer; 10-13-2016 at 05:24 AM. |

After hearing the name here I took a look at it. That sim is an updated version of another one I tried once. It seems to have an updated interface that looks quite good but has inherited some flaws in the initial game. The player model as a whole just was entirely unsatisfying and the lack of a scouting system at all and of a good financial system just really made it a lackluster front office experience. The game strategy options I don't remember being too bad, but when constructing the team itself just isn't all that cool to do, you lose excitement for the games themselves.
Even with its imperfections, being a fraction of the game for its sport that OOTP is to baseball, Front Office Football would seem like a much better bet.
