Hitter tendencies, defensive shifts?

I haven't played this game in a few years... Has iOotp added hitter tendencies (pull/spray) and major defensive shifts?

What has changed significantly since iootp 2012 other than the player editor?

I know hitter tendencies have been added. Not sure about defensive shifts as I don't usually play out games

Thank you. At the very least, subtle defensive shifts were possible in iootp 2012. I'd love some way to see not just tendencies for hitters but actual %s. I know this is asking a lot from the mobile version though.

The same defensive shifts are in iOOTP14. In the older version, there was no way of telling who you should use them against, though. In this version, the batter's player card has a descriptor like "Normal Hitter", "Spray Hitter", or "Pull Hitter". I find that I still don't use shifts much, though.

If I remember correctly, one of the most significant improvements in MY opinion (I have never used the Player Editor, as I always do Historical Simulation and will take whatever player ratings are assigned) was the pitch count being right on the Field View screen. It seems like a tiny feature but it certainly improves the flow of the game.

I honestly don't remember much else. I know that I was disappointed in how little changed from 13 to 14 but I don't really remember 12 to 13.

Thanks. Definitely worth the upgrade for $5.

iOOTP is a game that likely won't see a ton of new features from one year to the next, like OOTP gets. Since it's a mobile game aimed at casual players, we find it's not as important to have a lengthy list of new features and then add even more of them with numerous updates, like we do with OOTP.
