Minor (very minor) bug report
I have used the rename team capability to rename a couple of the teams in my fictional league. For example, I renamed the "Gibbons" into the "Grands." (As much as I enjoy Planet of the Apes, I couldn't get the image of a ape-like batter with super-long arms out of my mind.)
However, I noticed today that the announcer forgets about the new team name when he refers to the BALLPARK of the team. So, today I played a game in "Gibbons Park" where the Grands defeated my team. |

Ok thanks, I list that in my Project Tool. I have to ask Markus how to change that (if possible).

Of course, you could just decide that it's a feature. As in, "iOOTP sometimes chooses names for ballparks that have rich, storied histories that at first glance seem independent of the teams that use the park. This feature adds to the realism of fictional leagues, as often ballparks back in the day were named for mysterious, esoteric reasons."
I've already decided that Gibbons Park is so named because there is a defunct animal park next door that paid for the naming rights which later went out of business due to animal rights activists. |
