Opt-out if team relegated not working

For some reason in my pro/rel league, players who have clauses to opt-out if their team is relegated don't opt out when it happens. I don't know whats causing this, since its worked before in my other saves. Anyone know what the problem might be?

We need more details. Did it work before in that same universe and now doesn't? If thats the case did it happen after the latest patch was installed?

The Opt-Out is only an option. When I've had this enabled I have seen players both exercise that option to Opt-Out and also decide to remain with the team. I'm not sure specifically what goes into that decision, but just know it isn't automatic.

Sorry for such a late response, but what happens is that in some of my saves it works fine and in others it does not work at all. I can't find any pattern as to why it only works in some of my saves.

My first guess is that it would be related to the League Reputation difference between the two leagues.

I've tried with even reputations, with reputations of 10 and 0, and reputations of 10 and 5 and none of them work.
