Seattle Metropolitans 2020-21

The NHL granted Seattle a franchise with a price tag of $750,000,000.00 + another $700,000,000.00 in arena repairs to meet the NHL requirements with finally price tag of nearly $1,500,000,000.00.

Seattle will play in the Pacific Division, to make the division equal The Edmonton Oilers were moved to the Central Division, Edmonton also received a cash payment of $50,000,000.00 to move divisions.

Mr Hanauer speaking for the Ownership group says “It’s a great day for the City of Seattle with the NHL starting play this season 2020-21, we had a name your team contest & with 80% of the voters voted for the return of The Metropolitans"

The NHL decided it was time to give the people of Quebec a team, NHL awarded Quebecor a NHL team, but when Quebecor was getting ready to welcome the Nordiques back, the NHL governors decided that the Nordiques name, belong to the Avalanche franchises & refuse Quebecor to use the name. Quebecor had to go with the 2nd name from name your team contest (Nordiques got 95% of the votes) Armada.
