Best defensive shortstop

The best I have seen are 66 Aparicio, 65 Belanger, and 62 Marion at 115. Next, I have 60 Ordonez at 114, 89 Cronin at 113, 88 Boudreau at 112, 68 Rizzuto at 110, 91 Rizzuto, 90 Ozzie, 62 Burleson at 109, and 91 Travis Jackson, 73 Roy McMillan and 70 Ozzie Smith at 108.

Edit: original list updated to include players added by others below. Who am I missing at 108 or more?

Depends on how low you want to go. The 84 Pesky is 103, and isn´t Rowdy Richard Bartell up there somewhere?

Edit: The 68 Rizutto is 110, holy cow! Also found the 62 Burleson at 109, who knew? This is fun! And finally to round out the 100 club, I found 56 Durocher at an even 100.

Bartell is 106. Pesky is 103.

I actually had 91 Rizzuto and forgot about him.

I am really looking for guys that are over 108, especially guys that could realistically play in Perfect Leagues.

I platoon Pesky 103 def, and Aparicio 115 def. Even though Aparicio is a bronze card he can play in perfect.

Has any Second baseman been successful at short? Jackie maybe?

Live Simmons is 103.

99 Robinson can only get to 100.

I find it odd that 66 Aparicio is a better fielder than his “PEAK” self.

Most PEAK cards have worse fielding and running ratings than other cards of the same player. Aparicio is not unique in this regard.

Looks like the PEAK aspect of the card is offense-oriented only (By one report a player's best season in each batting category). The defense might be more like...career average? ... certainly not their best season defensively.
