New tournament cards question

Are the new cards injected through the tournaments system will also be included in packs (like peak Pedro or 100 Whitaker) ?

New cards injected through the tournament system will only be available through tournaments. However, the Peak Pedro was not a tournament card. He was released in packs and they did a one time tournament with him as a reward kicking off tournaments. Pretty sure you won't see that card in another tournament (just packs).

So basically cards like 100 Whitaker will become the rarest cards of the game, only accessible to the immortal gods of PT 20. Sad for me, but probably good for the game and tournaments' vitality.

If only they'd open a few of those rare yummies in some mode besides Open.

About the time I "make it," the XX version should reach its expiration date.

I'm realistic enough to know that I'm still months away from being a decent challenge to the large aquatic mammals swimming in the Open seas.

Is there a list of cards they've added? 5 were highlighted on TWIPT, but there appear to be more.

I'm still trying to figure out what the scoop is on the 1978 Fergie Jenkins and 1968 Dave Giusti. I don't even know their OVR rating, just that they exist as a Ranger and an Astro respectively.
