Personality Classes
So I have noticed that any position can be a "captain" except for players denoted as RPs. Even closers can be considered captains by the team. So why can a closer, someone who is literally a type of reliever, be a captain but just a normal reliever can't.

Don't know if that is new to this version but I have definitely had a reliever as a "captain" in past versions...
He was a lefty and provided great utility in that he pitched well into his mid-30's and filled that role on a palatable contract. |

Right, I was wondering this too. I am sure that I have seen captains who were relievers and not designated as closers. So I'm not sure if this is just a mis-perception or if something has changed that I didn't notice.
