Too Many Players on Minor League Roster
Hello everyone,
I am playing a 1981 historical sim with the Toronto Blue Jays that I began with their inaugural expansion season of 1977. I have a rookie league team, the Medicine Hat Blue Jays, who have almost 150 players on their roster (including almost 30 catchers). I have it set that minor league managers handle minor league signings and releases. I have gone through and done a mass release of players to bring the roster size down to a practical number, only to have the AI re-sign all of these players the following day. Is there any way to limit these minor league rosters that does not involve changing the AI settings to handle these signing/releases on my own, or retiring players according to history? If you go into the league settings for each league, you can set a roster limit size.
