I'm working on the quickstart for it again like I did in the last version, but as usual I'm building up the NRHL (National Roller Hockey League) again. 24 team league with a 78 game schedule, 2 conferences and 4 divisions, minors are built the same way, and a 24 team 68-game schedule in the junior league. Starting in 2003-04 and will have two versions, one with players I edited in myself and one without. I'll share it when it's ready.

Maryland FBL League

Here is my fictional League. It's based on areas in Maryland with the various geographies taken into account as best as possible. The problem I have found with creating this league was trying to make it realistic with how close teams are within a division. I wanted at least 10 miles wherever possible in between teams. Sometimes this was not possible, especially when it comes close to where the mid-way point is between Washington DC and Baltimore. The Upper Marlboro and Bowie teams are very close together and could have been in the same division but I chose to make a rivalry (judges to outlaws) and put them in a position where only in a fictional world series would they ever match up.

In 2005 the league became lop-sided with the addition of 2 new teams in the same league (two less in the other league.) in 2018 the league received another two teams which balanced the game out again.

When creating the game in 2000, I created a plethora of 5-star players...all based on 1-100 ratings so they could have genuine weakness or greatness rather than a more buffered look. Many of the players have run into their very late 30's. Some making it to their mid-40's before ratings and performance declined. I started managing the Easton Eagles after 18 seasons and at the point they were created. Since then the number of original players who started in the simulation has dropped sharply.

Division #1 = West of the Chesapeake Bay + Surrounding DC
Division #2 = East of the Chesapeake Bay + Surrounding Baltimore

(SW) Southern Maryland Division (Division #1)
Indian Head Indians (2000)
Waldorf Gamblers (2000)
Chesapeake Beach Boaters (2000)
Leonardtown Seats (2000)
Upper Marlboro Judges (2000)
St. Mary's City Saints (2005)

(WM) Western Maryland Division (Division #1)
Germantown Elites (2000)
College Park Minors (2000)
Frederick Mountains (2000)
Hagerstown Ol'Timers (2000)
Rockville Doctors (2000)
Cumberland Miners (2005)

The Eastern Shore of Maryland Division (League #2)
Cambridge Arches (2000)
Salisbury Mens (2000)
Wye Mills Farmers (2000)
Ocean City Tourists (2000)
Hurlock Poors (2000)
Easton Eagles (2018) - Managing since inception

Baltimore Metro Division
Annapolis Governors (2000)
Columbia Horizons (2000)
Havre De Grace Angels (2000)
Towson Fives (2000)
Bowie Outlaws (2000)
Elkton Wild Ones (2018)
------------

In the post season these teams have won at least two world series:
Ocean City - 4 WS (League #2)
Cambridge - 3 WS (League #2)
Rockville - 3 WS (League #1)
Upper Marboro - 2 WS (League #1)
Hurlock - 2 WS (League #1)
