a.) fewest teams?
b.) most teams?
c.) most divisions?
d.) most conferences?
e.) most expansion teams?
f.) most minor leagues?
g.) fewest playoff teams?

In regards to playoffs, the max is 16 teams (league wide or 8 per conference), and the smallest I think was 4 teams. I believe conferences top out at 2, while divisions can be 2 or 3 per conference. Still only get one minor league and one junior league. No idea on the expansion limit, but using the custom league format you can put however many teams you want per division. I think the max there is 10, I don't recall.

I'm going off memory on a lot of these since I already set up my league before, but it's heading in the right direction.
