To those of you that, like me, remember the boardgame fondly, rejoice!!!

The PC game was released today!!! It is a 100% faithful reproduction of the boardgame, using rules set 5. The 84 page PDF file IS the boardgame instruction set.

There is a DRM involved...you get three downloads. The good news is that if you un-install the game, you get one of them back. Effectively, if you're careful, this should not be an issue.

I am off to download this now, I will give you my impressions of this in a day or so.

Never played the boardgame before but have heard about it. Just seen a preview for this the other day for the PS3 and thought it looked pretty cool. Reminds me of the old Mutant League Football for the Sega Genesis I used to play a lot back in the day.

The PC game uses ruleset 5.0 from the boardgame Blood Bowl. 100%, with no deviations.

It is rare for me to do the same, but given the PRECISELY crafted nature of the PC version, all I needed to hear was about the stability of the platform, which is rock-solid.

All games topics belong in off topic. I have nothing against the game, I follow and enjoy many of Games Workshops games.
I just feel a PC game thread is inappropriate for talk sports.
