Bug with Relievers being tired?

The guy hasn't pitched for 4 days and still isn't 100%. He's a natural RP, too.

Other examples:

All of these guys should be 100% ready with a day off, no?
I kinda get it if the game is set to penalize use of SP in RP roles, but that isn't the case in any of these examples.

12 pitches 4 days ago probably should be 100%, but 97% is pretty close. maybe there's something else going on here.

The rest, though, all more or less make sense. Guys sometimes need a couple days off to recover, but they can still pitch quite effectively at those levels.

I assumed the 97% thing was deliberate, at least for tournaments (which is where 99% my attention has been lately).

As it happens, today's Daily Iron tournament just presented me with the perfect example. On October 19th, 4 of my relievers were used to close out a series sweep. Charlie Root (a SP used as a RP) threw 21 pitches, Ben Wade (a true RP with 16 stamina) and Nelson Briles (status unclear and inconsistent, but I think the game thinks of him as a SP for the most part) threw 18 pitches, and Logan Verrett (a true RP with 23 stamina) threw 9 pitches. All 4 were only recovered to 97% for the start of the next series after 3 days off.

It may also be worth noting that Wade's previous appearance was 25 pitches on the 14th, Verrett's was 37 pitches on the 17th, Briles's was 34 pitches on the 16th, and Root's was 28 pitches on the 17th.

So, based on what my experiences have been, your Clay Carroll's behavior is what we ought to consistently expect.

You will want to make sure that the Pitchers actual position is RP and not SP while in the pen.

That doesn't matter. Otherwise, you could change all your starters to relief pitchers for the stuff boost.

If this was directed at me, then please note that all 4 pitchers being discussed have their roles manually set to RP or CL while being utilized in the bullpen. My understanding is that it does not matter at all for the simulations and is only a visual change, but my OCD decrees it necessary all the same

Open the player profile of one of your relievers that has some fatigue. take note of his current fatigue %. Then switch his position from RP to SP.

Their actual stuff and fatigue will depend on the role they're actually used in (ie. if you bring a guy in in a reliever's spot in-game, then his reliever stuff and reliever fatigue will be used). But yeah, what you see for stuff and fatigue depends on what role they're set as.
