Throw it out there again

What does everyone think...THINK...of a 450,000 PP cap on cards in the Auction House?

No need to get personal...Just your thoughts if you have any...

I think it could be a good thing for a number of reasons.

1. Lower rated cards could not be put up for 1,000,000 PP.
2. It might encourage competitiveness/interest among the group that certainly cannot afford a whole team of 200,000 PP players.
3. Inflation. When does it end? And what problems does it create?
4. At the end of the day, as they say, we don't know how it will effect things overall...so rather than ONLY weighing positives & negatives from your own point of view, consider that none of us have a crystal ball and 450,000 PP doesn't create a cap but does limit the amount of PP a team can spend on their players to 450,000 PP per player. At the point it gets higher than that, and any team that even plays remotely close to F2P or is even willing to spend quite a bit of their earned pay on players but cannot generate millions of PP can at least use some kind of strategy & have a chance with a maximum in the AH. At the end of the day, what differences it will make, we do not yet know.

Generally speaking, this idea has become far less outlandish now that auctions have been changed to limit activity to an artificial 50 card auction limit and a max auction length of 48 hours.

I HATE anything more than 48 hours so hooray!

The 50 limit has only hit me once so now I don't rip packs in large quantaties.

I think it would have the opposite of intended result as the people who can afford to pay the money for 750k, 900k, 1 million PP on a top player would then just be able to spend the same amount of money on two top players instead, while a F2P player who gets a really lucky pull might only be able to get half the PP with which to bolster his team than he would get otherwise. On the contrary, an uncapped auction hall is more demanding of the whales and potentially more lucrative for a lucky F2P player.

It's a market. Transactions only happen if both sides see a benefit. Let people price and pay what they want.
