It should be posted on Tuesday.

I hate seeing another long-time player leaving PT. The yearly exodus continues as that part of the game moves farther toward players with very deep pockets. I am going to give it another year more for the fact that it gives me something to pass my time in retirement than for the joy of PT anymore. Some of us will miss you on that side of the game and as for the others, who cares.

Enjoy baseball, that is all that matters.

I can't imagine anyone wanting to play PT, but maybe that's just me... someone that started with OOTP 4.

Yeah i never got into it.
The impression i got is it seems like you either get lucky in a card you pick
or you pay for players.
I may be wrong but i think you could get any player you want.
That's kind of a no go for me.
I prefer a league where there is only one Sandy Koufax or Roberto Clemente.
I'm not sure as it doesn't interest me.

What truly amazes me is the amount of money some people are willing to spend with no chance of any monetary return whatsoever.

Must be a pride and ego thing.

I'm guessing it becomes an addiction for some. I ran into it myself a bit this past spring and summer but with Topps Bunt. I wanted all the Cardinals cards I could get. Spent thousands acquiring a bunch of 1/1s before I realized it was an actual addiction

I only have one concern: is TCR going to be as flakey as it was in OOTP 24?

If I have to invest more effort into controlling player development, the last thing I want is the WTH version of TCR from OOTP 24. The game's development model has gone in about five years from charmingly stochastic to annoyingly flakey. If I wanted to live in terror of my development not paying off at all, I could just watch the IRL Pirates.
