Looks like a lot of the players rated differently compared to the spreadsheets I am looking at is the relief pitchers.

Looks like the reason maybe because the relivers movement numbers are what they would be as starters without the boast to stuff ratings

Record Breaker Lou Gehrig 1931 IF Ratings are RNG 8 ERR 33 ARM 8 DP 8
Low compared to his other cards IF ratings (which aren't high) but are not in single digits for 3 of the 4 categories. |

Extremely minor thing - the 1986 Lee Mazzilli. He's listed on the Pirates. He did have more plate appearances with the Pirates in 1986, but he had much more value to the Mets.
In terms of WAR he had more value, but on top of that, he scored the game tying run in Game Six of the World Series to send the game to extra innings, and scored in the turning point of Game Seven - and of course getting that World Series ring. He's an Unsung Hero of 1986 yes, but it wasn't from being the 6th/7th string OF on a 98-loss Pirates team.

In PT19 I won a Perfect Level WS with a team that finished 2nd of 15 in runs scored, but 14th of 15 in defensive efficiency rating. I highly doubt you could even make the playoffs with a team that was 14th in runs scored, but 2nd in d.e.r. |

The infield ratings on the 1989 Von Hayes (72) seem unusually high (70 range, 78 arm, 67 dp). He only played 30 games at 1b and 10 games a 3b that year.

Interesting note: In the Database Guerrero Jr is a 98 but right now he is for sale in the AH as a 100 Perfect Future...

1990 Shawon Dunston has a 39 ARM rating. Dunston had a reputation of having one on the best arms in league. He was never a gold glove player so i won't dispute his other defensive ratings. But i would think his ARM rating should, at least, be between the high 80s and low 90s.

Unsung Heroes, RP Ryan Brasier 2018 (78 OVR) is listed with his primary team abbreviated as "PAW" for the minor league PawSox, rather than the Red Sox.

Found a handful of cards where the short team name in the "Card Title" doesn't match the "Team".

The devs have said that the movement ratings in the spreadsheet are the "raw" movement ratings, without the adjustment for ground ball percent and other factors. The figure you see in the game is a composite of some black box formula, and it has nothing to do with starters vs. relievers.

The FL Ryan Mountcastle and 74 OVR Ichiro card are missing (I have them both on my team). Also, the 2019 Adam Eaton card is listed in the database as having an 80 OVR when, in fact it has an 82 OVR. Is there going to be a version number added to the list at some point so that we know whether we are up-to-date?

MOV = -25.8575 + (.475018 * MOVraw) + (.943775 * GB%) gets you very close to the displayed MOV rating. |

Also, where does the "BABIP" rating displayed in the spreadsheet come from? I'm assuming it's a combination of CON, Avoid K, and ???

Then the FIP formula from PT19 should hopefully still apply.

Just wanted to echo the need for revisions. In addition to the missing cards, already reported we've just gotten our first TWIPT content release last night, and those cards are obviously missing.
Doing a weekly database update on Tuesday mornings would be pretty ideal, I think. Monday looks to be both the date for live card updates as well as TWIPT content releases. It seems to be the best day to catch the most changes the quickest without doing constant updates. |
