NARBL - 14 Year Fictional League

After a small hiatus we've implementing a new commissioner NARBL (North American Republics Baseball League) has just completed it's 14th season and is entering the 2026 Season.

We have a solid core of GM's and Owners in the league and are looking to fill a few teams to reestablish the Solid league we were in the first 13 seasons of NARBL's existence.

This is an associated league based on the idea that the south won the civil war. The Union League is a capped league, there is revenue sharing etc (trying to create parity). The Confederate League is an uncapped league with no revenue sharing. The focus here is on building your franchise through having a strong market.

We are looking for:

1. Serious inquiries only. Almost every team is very active, and this is the rare instance where we have a handful of open teams. If you are in seven other leagues this league likely isnt for you. The dedicated teams win over the long haul. If you are willing to put in the time then you can get a tremendous amount of joy from this league

2. Someone who enjoys the social aspect of online leagues. More than half of our owners are on the forum every day, we have many good discussions that occur on our league chat. Its fun, and it should be. If this appeals to you, then this is the league for you.

Where are the league reports?
The forum is pretty empty.

We had to re-jump the league recently. Normally we averaged 1 or 2 manager vacancies an offseason, but last season our Commish (who was running it for 3 years, real life) just up and vanished. We were somehow able to get the commissioner password from him prior to, however he cut out the Website and Forum copmletely so we lost all of our past information.

This is our first Full season without him, but have set up a solid committee to ensure there are no more hiccups and that this won't happen again. Even with being down for a month we had almost a 75% retention rate which shows how strong the league ownership is.

We have a forum set up, but everything is from the past season, and we also have a chat in the forum that is only viewable by members where we have a lot of discussions and interactions. We are in the process of getting the player profiles and league reports set up as well as a cleaner looking version of the website. By next season we also hope to have Statslab up and running (something we didn't have prior to our past commissioner).

We have a strong ownership group and the league will be run by the GMs with input for ideas on evolution from all members involved.

Not having league pages up hurts recruiting, but in the meantime we are willing to send the league file over for anyone interested to peruse.

This is a great league, I was the owner of Houston from the get go and enjoyed the the consistent competition. Unfortunately, I relinquished my team due to the fact that I just haven't had time to play lately. Still, to anyone interested, you can't go wrong with this group.
