Looking for reps for the next edition of the Grand Championship League

Hey All:

'm getting ready for the next edition in the Grand Championship League, which is a best of OOTP's online leagues. (I like to say it's the World Cup without the vuvuzelas.)

We're going to change things up from the last two years of the GCL. This time we're going to use real players and run a 32-team tournament, with a best-of-9 series for each round. (No regular season + playoffs, like the last 2 years.) It will move a lot faster than in the past. The plan, as in the past, is to tie it into promotions for the next version of OOTP.

The idea is each online league sends a participant -- they chose that person in whatever way they see fit. That person represents their league. We give prizes to the top 4 finalists, with the winner getting the best prize. There's also a snazzy virtual trophy that the winning league can put on their web site.

The word has gone out to last year's participants, so they get first dibs to come back, but there were 25 or 26 of them last year, so we'll have several more slots to fill even if all of them return. If we end up getting more than 32 leagues wanting to participate, I'll give priority to the ones from last year and then go through the requests in the order they were received.
