No NHL Entry Draft?

Just played through the first season with a new save. 2019-2020 season start, I am playing as Doug Wilson and managing the San Jose Sharks. Simmed through the offseason after being eliminated during the playoffs.

Got to draft day, June 22nd 2020. And the draft order popped up. I dediced I wanted to trade up in the draft, so a few trades later I was ready to start the draft.

I clicked continue and it just simmed on past the 22nd and all the way June 30th. No draft. I checked the draft log to see if it somehow just simmed the draft for me. The page is completely blank.

Normally if you try to sim past draft day without doing the draft it wont let you, a prompt comes up telling you to go to the draft and finish it.

I am currently waiting for July 1st to load to see what happens.

Anyone else encounter anything like this? So far I haven't had too many bugs or issues with the game. I haven't been playing as heavily as I have did with FHM 5 but everything has gone pretty smooth so far, and now that I am technically in the next season I would assume I can't do anything about the 2020 draft and will have to wait until 2021 and see if its working. Or just start a new game.

EDIT:

July 1st loaded and the 2021 draft scouting report shows all the 2020 prospects and the 2021 prospects together. Weird. Might just start a new game.

Can you use a roll-back and go before the draft? We may need to see the save.

I ended up starting a new game, and deleted all my old saves. I want to see if it happens again somehow.

This is my first playthrough as a real gm, usually I just make my own. But I wanted to give it a try. Hopefully it was just a one time thing. It was super wierd cause every team still had 2020 draft picks. I was going to try to trade all mine for 2021 picks but decided i'd rather just start over.
